LOST GEMS is the solo project of Northern California based singer/ guitarist/ songwriter Cynthia Isabella (Silence in the Snow) in collaboration with producer, Alex DeGroot (best known for his contributions as co producer and live multi instrumentalist for Zola Jesus). 

With her roots in the dark music community of the SF Bay Area, playing in post-punk and darkwave bands, Lost Gems is the evolution to the core inspirations that moved her to create music and perform.

Moving away from the dense walls of sound of traditional band production, Lost Gems has distilled her music down to its most raw, essential elements. While the atmospheric textures project a dark surrealist dread, the songs themselves remain anchored in a deep, timeless sense of melody and structural symmetry. It is a midnight noir sound that is simultaneously intimate and immense, proving a single human frame on stage can generate a massive emotional current.
